About the role -

The SDR will play an integral role in helping the Builder sales team exceed its quarterly sales targets. The SDR’s key responsibility will be to identify and qualify quality best-fit Builders for RFQ and book meetings with main contractors in order to create and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities.

  • Identifying and qualifying leads and projects from multiple databases of opportunities as well as sourcing new opportunities
  • Uploading project information onto the public noticeboard
  • Booking high-quality meetings for the BDM’s and outbound sales
  • Keeping detailed notes in the CRM on the customer and learnings in discovery
  • Creating an environment to create leads; working with marketing and methodologies to utilize existing customer data

About you -

Someone with a keen interest in Sales or Customer Success who has a methodology (or can easily pick one up) to approach customers and facilitate a discovery conversation. Through discovery they will be able to unearth the pain points and needs of the customer so that we can clearly identify the opportunity and funnel it efficiently through our pipeline.

  • Have experience or be eager to make high volume calls, driving towards clearly defined targets / outcomes
  • Have an understanding of the construction industry (ideal world, but not necessary)
  • They are a self-starter who is ambitious and keen to develop into a BDM or CSM role
  • Have a natural curiosity for how businesses operate and what makes them tick (so they can identify unmet need opportunities for sales)
