In introducing myself, I am a content writer and poet. I completed my Masters of English Literature degree at the University of Sydney in 2018 where I studied literary theory and creative writing. I have published some of my poetry in the Australian literary journal The Wild Goose by Black Cockie Press in their 2019 August edition.
From October 2019 to March 2020 I interned as a content writer at the Fashion Industry Broadcast which is a global digital media business covering the latest breaking culture. Under the direction of Paul G. Roberts, I collaborated with the writing team to produce quality written reviews, opinion and analytical pieces on contemporary cultural trends which ranged from fashion, music, film, and art. My experience there garnered me well-rounded experience of producing quality content for the FIB news website and I believe I can produce the same quality if not better content for your organisation. From September 2020 to November 2020 I also interned at Word Travels. Word Travels is a non-profit organisation that specialises in promoting slam poetry events and the works of slam poets in Australia and internationally. During my role at Word Travels I wrote conversational blog posts about local and international slam poets during Word Travel’s 2020 Story Week Festival.
I write my own poetry and blog writing on the writing platform Medium https://medium.com/@jumpingjays. Words have always found a way to find me and I have always found a way to transit such imaginations to a fulfilling destination.
I also work part time in retail at Woolworths as an all-rounder team member.
