ABOUT THE ROLE

We are on the look out for a Senior Reservations Consultant who is passionate, polished, service orientated and ready to deliver the highest standard of customer service for our guests whilst meeting business objectives. Our Senior Reservations Consultant is an integral part of our team providing a warm and friendly welcome to all new Reservations Consultants and support/relief work to Reservations Supervisors as required.

What will you be doing?

Your primary job is ensure each and every guest has an experience of a lifetime through customer service and training of new consultants. Together you will share special places and create lasting memories.

Your days might include:

  • Train and assist new Reservations Consultants;
  • Maintain the Reservations training manual in addition to Policies and Procedures;
  • Greeting and assisting guests ensuring the guests experience is priority;
  • Exceptional customer service of all passengers and guests;
  • Focus on driving and processing Cruise Whitsundays direct bookings and sales;
  • General administration duties such as cash reconciliations and use of databases;
  • Booking transport and catering for our guests; and
  • Manning our gift shop selling beautiful merchandise to our guests.
  • Undertake relief work for Reservations Supervisors leave coverage.

ABOUT YOU

Who you are is important to us we want you to be yourself, genuine, personable and be able to demonstrate your administration and sales skills to the highest standards. You now your stuff and are passionate about the Tourism industry with a real commitment to delivering the best standards of customer service.

To be successful in this role, you will have/be the following:

  • High level of interpersonal skills with a lead by example attitude;
  • Self motivated and adaptable with an eye for detail;
  • Undertake relief work for Reservations Supervisors leave coverage;
  • Strong Customer Service, Sales and Relationship Management Skills;
  • Ability to multi-task competing priorities and a solution-based problem solver;
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills;
  • Proficient with MS Office and general administrative skills;
  • Confident with the use of technology and communication devices;

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 years customer service and sales experience;
  • Previous experience in a training role is highly desirable;
  • Driver's Licence is highly desirable;
  • Certificate II in Tourism or Business Admin is highly desirable:
  • Familiar with Customlinc or similar reservation platform (desirable);
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings and public holidays between the hours of 6:30am and 7:15pm.
