Job Description

We are looking for a motivated, driven and commercially-minded Specification BDM who will be proactively on the front-line, connecting with key design stakeholders, resellers and contractors to increase our clients’ specified projects and opportunity pipeline. This is a Hybrid role that requires travel throughout Greater Sydney, being F2F 4 days per week and working from home the other.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Focus on getting specified - Tenaciously follow projects through the design or construction phase with a view to obtaining specifications
  • Building relationships with architects, resellers, joiners, and subcontractors - being the key point of contact for all design related enquires and escalations with an aim to influence specifications.
  • Generate new leads and as well as maintain existing ones
  • Forensic follow-up of current opportunities in the pipeline and prospect
  • Proactively call new prospects In NSW (Architects) and undertake face-to-face visits
  • Make it easy for architects, resellers, joiners, and subcontractors to specify the Castella products
  • Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities


Requirements

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience in sales, business development and specification selling.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in using MYOB Advanced or similar CRM Systems
  • Demonstrates energy, persistence, and a passion to meet personal and team targets
  • Proactive client mindset
  • Strong amp; fast-paced work ethic
  • Punctual, Self-Driven amp; Self-Motivated
  • Ability to work remotely
  • Displays professionalism when dealing with the team and customers
  • Assists in developing a flexible and collaborative team environment
