About the role

We are looking for an accomplished and experienced Purchasing Officer wanting to grow their career in Procurement within a supportive, collaborative, friendly and fast-paced environment. You will have the ability work autonomously and efficiently in a small team.

This role is part of the Procurement Team and you will support the business’ purchasing requirements, management of stock, and supplier relationships.

You are responsible for supporting the project and sales teams with processing purchase orders, logistics, licensing renewals, monitoring lead times, and keeping customers up to date with ETAs.

Key responsibilities include:

PURCHASING

  • Receive and process orders
  • Apply for / order software licenses
  • Order equipment for internal/staff requirements
  • Monitor orders through to delivery stage
  • Ensure orders are placed with the appropriate supplier
  • Promote and maintain excellent supplier relationships
  • Ensure returns are processed in a timely basis and followed through until credit is received
  • Update configuration details in database following a completed purchase order, e.g.: licensing, warranty amp; domain renewals

STOCK CONTROL

  • Ensure adequate levels are kept of stocked items
  • Ensure stocked items are correctly accounted for
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of client and TML-owned equipment
  • Track client spares in a centrally maintained system
  • Manage logistics for incoming/outgoing deliveries

ADMINISTRATION

  • Ensure product codes and information is entered accurately and maintained
  • Ensure services, subscriptions, warranties, and support agreements are correctly registered on completed orders

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years experience as a Purchasing Officer or Supply Chain Specialist
  • Knowledge of procurement and purchasing processes and best practices
  • Strong ability in using MS Office and Sharepoint
  • Experience working with ConnectWise
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail that is second to none
  • Good organisational and time management skills
