We are looking for a driven and dedicated Billing Team Leader that sees value in supporting their team and driving success through effective management of stakeholder relationships, ensuring attention to detail and a high level of accuracy is maintained, and a real tenacity for continuous process improvement.
Requirements
As the Billing Team Leader you will:
- Lead and coach the training and development of the Billing Officers
- Conduct monthly formal performance reviews with the team members
- Accountable for the completeness, timeliness and accuracy of reconciliation of carrier invoices and subsequent production of customer invoices
- Establish and maintain productive and professional relationships with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure that all issues are managed smoothly as relevant to the Billing team
- Provide required analysis and reporting to Management
- Instigate and implement process improvement initiatives, including technology and best business practices
- Support of the broader Support Service functions as required
We are looking for:
- At least one year's experience in a Leadership role in a growing dynamic organisation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-volume environment
- Demonstrated capability in leading and managing a team
- Coaching people - act as a leader, as a mentor, supports others in professional development
- Adapting to change and leading change -proven track record in identifying and implementing business improvement initiatives and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Ability to analyse and think critically to resolve issues
- Ability and willingness to take a practical approach and undertake work at an operational level
- Ability to demonstrate strong system, data and analytical skills to determine trends or areas requiring corrective action
