We have 9 locations across Victoria and NSW and are looking for an awesome Assistant Manager to join our team. And, holy guacamole, there’s a good chance this role’s yours for the taking.

Requirements
Now, here’s where you come in.
- Inspire the team to deliver an incredible dining experience for our customers, every damn day. BYO boombox.
- Coach our Fondarians to build and promote a culture of excellence and engagement. Gold stars all ‘round.
- Consistently demonstrate and drive Fonda’s Steps of Service (Operations made us include this)
- Ensure all plates are up to perfection because every dish should be *chef’s kiss*
- Support your trusty Restaurant Manager to make sure food is stocked, and that maintenance tasks are logged and completed. (Love admin? This one’s got your name written all over it.)
- Help the Restaurant Manager with rostering, and ensuring that timesheets are approved accurately and on time.
- Having heaps of Fonda-lovin’ fun.
The perfect Assistant Manager will be
- Experienced. As this is a management position, previous hospitality experience in either front, back-of-house or any customer-facing role is preferred, but not essential. (Guac knows we love a career pivot.)
- Fun, approachable and enthusiastic. You want to delight people, and people are drawn to you.
- Supportive. We’re looking for someone who *cares* about people and thrives on coaching team members and seeing them flourish.
- Ambitious. We’re looking for someone with an appetitefor growth and development, of course.
Speaking of growth, there’s always room for more (food and) professional development in Fondaland. We’d love to train you up to eventually take on a Restaurant Management position, if that’s a career move that excites you.
