About the Role

We are on the hunt for a skilled Project Manager, who has had exposure to transition management and customer onboarding. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all Projects are delivered to the highest quality standard, within scope, in budget and on time. You will be fully accountable for Project Delivery (planning, tracking and varying) which begins at the point of handover from the Sales team.


When it comes to transitioning in new customers, you will play a key part in successfully managing the onboarding of their contracted services. A Transition Manager’s role is truly challenging, requiring resilience, flexibility and responsiveness.


What you’ll do

As a Project Manager, you are accountable for, but not limited to:

  • Assist the Sales and Presales team with contributing to bid responses, where required
  • Covert a customer contract into a contract compliance register and plan for delivery
  • Execute the project plan effectively and efficiently to ensure the project is delivered to its time, cost and quality targets
  • Leading project teams to deliver Datacom services
  • The transition of both new customers, and new services for existing customers, into Managed Services/ Operations
  • Ensuring that all operational teams are ready to support the new customer, or service, on or before the go live date.

What you’ll bring

You will bring at least 5 years’ experience in a similar customer facing senior project management role, ideally within an IT Professional or Managed Services environment. You will have an in-depth understanding of technical infrastructure and/ or software projects and related technology dependencies. You will be able to demonstrate successful delivery of projects, coming in on time, to scope, quality and within budget. On top of that, you will bring exceptional negotiation, communication and customer relationship management skills, along with sound business acumen.
