Neami National is a community mental health service supporting people living with mental illness to improve their health, live independently and pursue a life based on their own strengths, values and goals.
We have been providing mental health support for over 30 years. We were founded on an alliance between professionals, individuals and their families. Collaborative recovery remains at the heart of who we are today.
About your new role
The Peer Support Leads are exciting roles responsible for leading Peer Support Workers delivering and developing a new eight-week employment focused wellbeing program. The Peer Support Lead draws on their lived experience of recovery from mental illness, mental health crisis or caring for someone living with a mental illness, to instil confidence and hope in others about the journey of recovery.
You will lead the Peer Support workers to deliver the THRIVE program which seeks to increase understanding of managing mental health in the workplace and provide opportunity for positive and hopeful conversations with lived experience job seekers.
