What you’ll do
- Contribute to the design and implementation of efficient, scalable and robust solutions to suit project requirements.
- Backend engineering to implement tasks using compiled languages (Golang/Python).
- Frontend engineering to complete smaller tasks using JavaScript and associated libraries (React, Vue, Svelte).
- Data querying and manipulation using database technologies including relational databases and nosql solutions (mongo).
- Be active in team collaboration - issue resolution, code review, showcases, discussing solutions with other engineers, production of documentation.
- Support a culture of pride, responsibility, and ownership of the code you and the team write.
Who we’re looking for
- 1+ years working Industry experience via an internship, a placement year or a prior junior role.
- A demonstrable portfolio/public git profile with code examples (Technology Agnostic).
- Exposure to any of the following: Go/Python amp; React/Vue/Svelte.
- Basic understanding or experience with NoSQL and relational databases.
- Ability to design and implement small feature requests or bug fixes autonomously.
- Understanding of the concepts of microservices vs service-oriented architectures.
