About the role:
Entain Venues is a leader in providing in-venue entertainment services across Australia, with a suite of brands that includes APL, Sportspick, GameOn, innQUIZitive, QuizzaMe, and DJ Bingo in over 1000 locations. Our goal is to become the country's leading supplier of venue entertainment services, and we need your help to achieve this.
This is where you come in. As the Marketing Manager reporting to the General Manager of Entain Venues, this role will give you the opportunity to work hands-on, building marketing strategies and executing campaigns that drive awareness and attendance to our venues and events. You will lead our small but experienced venues marketing team, whilst fostering relationships and collaborating with the wider Entain marketing team of over 120 staff.
We are looking for those that have solid experience with CRM platforms and exposure to both B2C and B2B. The perfect fit for us will be those willing to take a hands-on approach by driving the creation of strategy whilst also supporting with execution. Location: We are open to either Brisbane where our HQ is located, or Sydney or Melbourne for this role.

What you will do:
- Take charge of strategy development and execution to increase participation (B2C) in all Entain Venues products, directly benefiting our venue partners.
- Lead multi-channel planning and supporting with execution across both B2C and B2B for the individual brands/products
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with the Entain marketing team, including those in Creative Design, CRM, Martech, and Digital while managing these relationships effectively.
- Drive the evolution and refinement of the reach and communications strategy, focused on activating CRM and Digital channels.
- Work closely with the Sportspick, Trivia amp; Events Marketing Manager to develop a comprehensive and continuous multi-channel marketing strategy aimed at driving player participation and engagement across all our offerings.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to enhance and optimise engagement for our key events such as the APL Poker Tour and APL Million.
Who we’re looking for:
- A minimum of five years of experience in a marketing, digital, or related position.
- An enthusiasm for poker, sports, trivia, or preferably, a combination of all three!
- Proficiency in digital media buying and planning, including but not limited to digital video, programmatic, social media, and search.
- Proficient in utilising CRM platforms and experienced in creating and implementing marketing campaigns and automations via email, SMS, and push notifications.
- Skilled in data analysis, optimization, and reporting.
- Strong leadership, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Being willing to take a hands-on approach, driving strategy creation while also providing support for execution.
