Procurement Officer

This is an exciting opportunity to join a progressive and purpose-driven aged care provider to coordinate the procurement of goods and services and the management of supply contracts and service contractors to enable the efficient and effective operation of Respect services. This position can be based in Victoria.

The Procurement Officer is responsible for providing a broad range of administrative and operational support services associated with the day-to-day operations of the Procurement department. The role requires strong organisational and communication skills and the ability to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

What you can bring to the role:

• Tertiary qualification/s in Business (or a related discipline) favorable.
• A minimum of 5 years in a procurement, accounts payable, contracting or business administration role
• Impeccable time and supplier relationship management skills
• Advanced competency in Microsoft Office suite including Word and Excel.
• Current National Police Certificate (or ability to acquire).

Desirable:

• An understanding of the Aged Care industry and best practice.
• Demonstrated experience in providing procurement and administration support in a medium-sized organisation.
• Sound understanding of basic Accounts Payable principles and commercial acumen.
