Role Description:
We’re looking for a Senior Project Manager to oversee the front end and delivery phase of upcoming large-scale Hotels, Mixed-Use and high-density residential projects. The value of these projects will range anywhere between $10M to $500M+.
Located in our brand new office in Sydney CBD, you’ll be responsible for:
- Managing all aspects of project delivery from concept to completion whilst ensuring budget and quality expectations are met
- Preparing feasibility studies, business cases and scopes of works
- Overseeing tender processes and appointing contractors
- Engaging and liaising with consultants
- Fostering strong working relationships with delivery partners and key stakeholders
- Overseeing contract management, variations and claims
- Using your connections in the NSW market to assist with winning work
Candidate Profile
To be successful, you’ll need at least 7 years of demonstrated experience in Hotel, Mixed-Use, or High-Density residential projects and will come from a background in either Engineering, Development or Building Consultancy.
You’ll also need:
- The ability to understand ‘the big picture’ of where these projects fit into the social infrastructure space (for Government projects), or how these developments impact the strategic objectives of private organisations (for projects in the private sector).
- Business Development skills you will be using your relationships to assist with developing new business, as a small portion of your weekly tasks.
- Strong communication skills and an ability to build rapport with stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and a customer-focused mindset.
- Experience with design and construction phases of projects from the Hotels sector.
- A willingness to work as part of the Project delivery team, to deliver outstanding outcomes for clients.
- Qualifications in Project Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction, or related discipline.
