Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Aged Care Regional or Area Manager to join a progressive and purpose-driven provider to oversee our residential aged care operations across Victoria.

The Position:

We are seeking a full-time Residential Area Manager to be based in Victoria.

The Residential Area Manager will be responsible for providing clinical governance and operational oversight to the residential aged care homes within their portfolio. Aligning with the strategic plan and expectations of Respect, the Residential Area Manager will be responsible for identifying and improving existing processes as well as conducting future planning for ongoing growth.

This opportunity requires the successful candidate to be a Registered Nurse.

The Residential Area Manager will work from home but must be able to travel to various locations across Victoria to visit sites within their portfolio.

Requirements

Ideally, we are seeking a candidate with an in-depth understanding of the ACQSC quality standards relevant to aged care. You’ll bring a collaborative approach to your work as well as a demonstrated track record in building and leading strong teams. You will be able to strike a positive balance between the professional, commercial and care aspects of your role and our organisation. You will have experience managing and leading teams at a senior level.

This role will report to our Chief of Residential Aged Care, and you will join a well-established and passionate operations team.

The successful candidate will be a member of Key Personnel and must satisfy the legislative requirements including aged care worker screening and provide evidence of their suitability to work in the aged care industry.
