Job Description

What you will do

UBI is seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic and driven individual to join our team at our Corporate HQ in Rowville (Victoria). This is a key role within the Finance team in managing existing staff and reports to the CFO.

As the Finance Manager you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the general ledger right through to timely amp; accurate presentation of all required financial statements, including cashflow statements.

Requirements

Who are you?

We are looking for a Big 4-experienced and proactive candidate who is CA/CPA-qualified with a minimum of 5 years industry experience.

The role will perform (but not limited to) the following activities:

  • Manage, deliver and support month-end and year-end close process
  • Manage staff responsible for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll functions
  • Co-ordinate and produce audit work papers for the quarterly and annual audits
  • International reporting and consolidation
  • Management of foreign exchange exposure and overall treasury function
  • Manage and prepare income tax, FBT, BAS and statutory returns
  • Manage and prepare Ramp;D tax rebates claim and grant submissions

You are a self-starter with the ability to work autonomously bringing knowledge and skills such as:-

  • Experience with global operations and US reporting requirements
  • Strong understanding of compliance under IFRS and preferably US GAAP
  • Excellent financial aptitude with the ability to undertake analysis work
  • Proficient in Microsoft Dynamics Business Central or similar accounting packages
  • Established communication skills
