Job Description
Our mission at Ofload is to achieve zero waste in trucking by digitising the transport industry.
In Australia, currently 30% of trucks drive empty and a further 50% are underutilised amounting to mass inefficiency and detrimental environmental impacts. Since 2020 we have scaled to a team of over 100, removed nearly 5 million empty kilometres from our roads. and have planted over 11 000 trees to offset our carbon footprint in partnership with One Tree Planted.
In 2022, we supercharged our growth through the acquisition of logistics experts CIA Logistics, raised $60m in Series B funding and were recognised by the Australian Financial Review as one of Australia's Most Innovative Companies.

What You'll Do
- Work closely with commercial / operational stakeholders to understand their processes to help them drive their decision-making journey using data
- Lead the end-to-end delivery process, including gathering data from different data sources, validation, ideation , development , testing and shipping to production
- Proactively building a process for BI and Metric teams to engage with other analysts and align on requirements and backlogs
- Apply storytelling techniques in presentation, metrics, dashboard to the audience
- Find insights that enable us to understand how decisions are being made, how they’re affecting Ofload’s clients, and suggest initiatives to improve these at scale.
- Build intuitive and interactive dashboards in Tableau or other tools to empower all teams achieve their goals
- Work with agile and cross-functional teams, from Data, Product to Tech and UX during the delivery process.
Requirements
What You'll Bring
- A deep understanding of analytics for the business and importance of implementing a metric culture.
- Strong communication skills - be able to break down complex topics into simple solutions.
- Experience working with SQL, Tableau
- Being familiar with data Warehousing/ETL concepts or have worked on similar projects
- Experience with Python and familiarity with contemporary data science libraries
- Working knowledge of Data Lakes, Marts, Warehouses and other data platforms
