Universal Biosensors (UBI) is a world leading Australian, publicly listed company (ASX:UBI) which develops, manufactures and sells biosensors for use in several industries around the world. Our biosensor technology has been used in more than 10 billion measurements for blood glucose monitoring and blood coagulation in diabetes and coagulation patients worldwide. What you will do
UBI is seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic and driven individual to join our team at our Corporate HQ in Rowville (Victoria). This is a key contributing role within the Finance team, reporting to the Finance Manager.
As the Financial Accountant, you are part of the team responsible for maintaining effective and efficient daily business processing activities, including reconciliations within the ERP system.
Requirements
Who you are
We are looking for a tertiary-qualified (with Business, Accounting, or Commerce major) team player with a minimum 5 years’ similar experience from a commercial environment. Your career may have initially started out within professional practices before entering industry.
With standard responsibilities for general ledger reconciliations and period-end close reporting, this role will also be involved in other tasks such as:
