Job Description

Initial Hygiene has an excellent opportunity for a Local Service Manager to join our team. Based in our Newcastle office, this role is to lead and manage a team and based out of Newcastle - Sandgate. Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for leading, managing, and developing a team of Service Technicians to ensure quality delivery of service, compliance, and customer satisfaction

The main duties for this role will include, but not be limited to:

  • Supervise, develop and coach a team of Service Technicians with the potential to further growth in service headcount
  • Maintain strong key stakeholder relationships within our customer portfolio
  • Conduct amp; participate in monthly team and safety meetings
  • Conduct regular site quality audits
  • Conduct TPA twice a year on each Technician
  • Inducting and training new staff members to the team
  • Managing and reviewing service runs
  • Administration related to servicing activities
  • Managing customer feedback
  • Covering service runs for Technicians when required
  • Ongoing performance management
  • Controlling service costs for your area.
  • Look after Pays eg: Kronos

The ideal candidate will possess and be able to demonstrate:

  • Team supervision
  • Excellent customer service skills and negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent PC skills, report preparation and attention to detail
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet KPI's
  • Time management skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think outside the box
  • A current Australian Driver's license is essential
