The Mission

The Senior Producer will contribute to a team that, with every project, works to be better: more sustainable, more transportive, more strategic in maximising client impact and investment and connecting with their audience through immersive story telling.

The Role

An integral senior position in the agency with a hands-on approach, strong leadership and communication skills and production excellence.

The Senior Producer will be responsible for delivering complex, medium to large-scale projects for highly discerning global and local clients with creative, design and production standards that set new benchmarks within the market each time.

Manage projects with budgets up to circa $2m

Contribute ideas and strategies to continually innovate and evolve the way in which we produce projects for greater efficiencies and outcomes.

Working alongside the Creative and Design team throughout the concept and design development phase, to develop and pitch the idea, meet deadlines, ensure production, and budget feasibility and develop the budget during this initial phase.

Work with Production, Technical and Design team to drive and manage the creative, design and production deliverables and timelines to ensure the concept and design is executed to the Katamp;Co standard.

Leading and fostering client relationships throughout all stages of the project to ensure clients’ expectations are exceeded and all deliverables are achieved.

Working collaboratively with the Director, Creative Director and Head of Production as needed on each project.

To liaise with and manage all suppliers regarding that event and build on and leverage those relationships to maximise value and outcomes.

To assess and allocate resourcing for a project that aligns project requirements, feasibility, and budget objectives.

Manage the project budget and to oversee the project team to ensure all projects produced by Katamp;Co meet the meet the profit targets and required financial outcomes

Lead, manage and motivate the project team on a day-to-day basis, assigning individual roles and responsibilities and ensuring deliverables are met.

Oversee and manage the onsite delivery final execution to the Katamp;Co standard.

Lead and manage multiple projects at a time across all aspects of client management, production management, budget management and final delivery.

Develop, drive and meet project timelines.

Identify and secure new business opportunities with current and prospective clients.

Mentor junior team members.

Within the agency the team is required to available to work all days and nights when an event is on, excluding times when annual leave has been approved.

This role reports to the General Manager.
