Due to continuous growth, we are looking for a Project Engineer-Systems Team Leader to join us.
This role can be based in Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a team of System Engineers in different geographic locations within the Professional Services team
- Build our customers infrastructure according to design, statement of work and in line with bA delivery standard and practices
- Provide excellence in Project Engineering skills, communication and ensuring Engineers are meeting their obligations regarding scope and delivery timeframe
- Providing weekly reports on team performance to your manager- Govern Project Delivery process ensuring that for each project, team is delivering relevant project artefacts like design and planning document, functional testing, UAT, AS-BUILT, delivery checklist against defined standards.
- Deliver your own customer project(s) individually or as a team in the capacity of Sr. Systems Engineer ensuring: - Design and implementation of Virtualization, MS Windows Domain Services, Azure IAAS, M365, Security and backup services as per current best practice in the industry. - In collaboration with the Project Manager, ensure solutions are being delivered in line with design, statement of work and scheduling milestones
Requirements
- 2+ years’ experience leading highly skilled System Engineers specialising in Wintel, VMware, Office365/M365 or 4+ years in a senior systems project engineer role specialising in Wintel, VMware, M365, or other system engineering work and looking to make the move into a leadership position
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Information Technology
- Expertise across a range of systems technologies including vendors such as Microsoft/Azure, VMware, Citrix, and HP
- Previous role with an ITamp;T System Integrator, Professional Consulting Services, or similar organisation.
