About the Role

  • Negotiable Full time and Part Time Positions, Maximum term contract until 30 June 2023 Consumer Service Delivery Level 2 with a salary range of $ 67,322 - $ 72,203 per annum PRO RATA + Superannuation
  • Location: Wollongong


Community Rehabilitation and Support Workers (CRSWs) will be employed primarily to work within the Service Navigation component of the program. As a CRSW in the program you will work with consumers, carers and partner organisations to identify the needs of consumers referred to the program and make referrals to appropriate services to support these needs. You will also support with applications to access the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) where appropriate.

Neami National's work with consumers occurs within their own community of friends, family and neighbourhood. You will work closely with clinical case managers and other community partner organisations to deliver the best possible comprehensive service to consumers.

Community Rehabilitation and Support Workers at Neami National function within a collaborative team approach and are supported by regular opportunities to reflect upon their practice and access comprehensive training and development.

What you will bring to the role?

  • A valid and current Australian Driver’s license
  • A valid and current Working With Children Check
  • Strong administration and time management skills

Neami National is a community mental health service supporting people living with mental illness to improve their health, live independently and pursue a life based on their own strengths, values and goals.

Mandatory role requirements:

  • Neami National will require, as part of our condition of employment, that all candidates applying for any position must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 (have received three doses), (or have received two doses of an approved COVID-19 vaccine and have a scheduled appointment to receive their third dose.)
