The Business Development Manager is empowered to grow and maintain the Strabe business in key existing accounts; penetrate and develop new accounts, and lead the sales cycle from start to finish. This includes identifying opportunities, lead follow-up and qualifying, presenting, and closing Strabe offerings to the defined target market.
About The Role:
- Head up New Business in Melbourne and across Victoria
- Business Development amp; Networking via phone amp; face to face
- Nurture and maintain existing relationships and accounts
- Hunting, investigating, and securing new business opportunities and lead generation
- Outbound prospecting for projects
- Maintain a pipeline of leads and opportunities
- Contribute to the development of the strategic sales amp; marketing plan
- Maintenance of accurate project and client details in CRM
- Reporting to Leadership Team amp; Managing Director
Requirements
Qualifications
- Had extensive experience in architecture, construction, and specifier markets
- Experience in B2B sales
- Self-disciplined, self-starter, and finisher
- Great attention to detail
- Strong hunting ability rather than account management and a hunger to close deals
- Hands-on and practical understanding of manufacturing for the built environment
- Professional image and presentation
- Understanding and Commitment to maintaining an up-to-date CRM
- Excellent understanding of the business systems and processes
- Great communications skills
