We are looking for a Senior Business Developer to join the Studyportals team based in APAC. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an experienced and growing team and use your skills and network to conquer our fastest-growing market, Asia.
What you will be doing
- Connecting with top universities to help them diversify and grow their international student body.
- Provide ongoing insights on international student mobility and strategies that focus on the quality and retention of their international cohort.
- Multi-level business development with a focus on connecting and building trust with senior level decision-makers of top institutions resulting in multi-year partnerships.
- Supporting the APAC team achieve their goals as well as managing and growing your own individual territory
- Advising and liaising with both new and existing clients building and nurturing existing partnerships and ensuring our clients are happy.
- Plan and attend client meetings online and across the region.
Reporting directly to the Asia Pacific CCO for the strategy and approach to growth targets within the APAC region.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of proven commercial track record within the Higher Education industry, hungry to quickly capture the market (Higher Education experience is required)
- Based anywhere in the Asia Pacific region.
- A strong network of key decision makers (C-level) within the HE industry in Asia
- Optimistic and self-disciplined high achiever with a sense of urgency and good work organization.
- Assertive, optimistic, energetic and persistent, with an entrepreneurial attitude.
- Results driven and committed to being successful.
- Team player independent yet supportive thriving in an entrepreneurial atmosphere.
- Able to get in the minds of prospective international students. Having experienced an international study period is desired.
- Eagerness to learn and grow alongside a young and dynamic company, with the ambition to quickly grow in role and responsibilities.
