A day in the life:
Reporting to the Company Secretary, you will be responsible for providing company secretariat support to an ASX listed company and its subsidiaries.Key Accountabilities
  • Ensuring that board and committee meetings are well organised, including preparing agendas, dispatching board papers and drafting minutes of meeting
  • Maintaining statutory records
  • Preparing and lodging ASIC forms
  • Lodging approved market announcements with ASX’s Market Announcement Platform
  • Liaising with the Company’s share registry
  • Preparation for the listed company’s annual general meeting (including drafting the notice of meeting)
  • Developing and leading PEXA’s approach to subsidiary management
  • Drafting documents to comply with PEXA’s statutory and reporting obligations
  • Contributing to the development of the internal governance framework, board and committee charters and associated policies to reflect evolving governance best practices, legislative and operational requirements
Knowledge and Skills
  • Experience working in a company secretarial environment (experience in an ASX listed company preferred)
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Qualification in law or governance preferred
  • Knowledge of company secretariat practices, Corporations Law, ASX Listing Rules and ASX Corporate Governance Council’s Corporate Governance Principles and Recommendations
