Our fraud team are there to protect our customers, business and the community from fraudulent acts. This includes proactive monitoring, identifying and implementing new technology, supporting our customers through security related events and engagement with external parties amp; authorities with the ultimate aim of preventing fraud.

What you will do
- Establish and maintain best practise fraud identification amp; monitoring tools amp; processes to minimise Entain Australia’s fraud exposure.
- Review and implement automation solutions including artificial intelligence to predict and prevent fraud occurrences.
- Minimise chargeback exposure from credit and debit cards.
- Establish framework for effective investigation of all fraud related occurrences.
- Oversee all fraud related reporting and compliance including but not restricted to AUSTRAC amp; other regulatory reporting.
- Complete internal reporting to ensure SLT/EXCO are aware of all fraud trends and risk.
- Establish and monitor internal processes to ensure 100% compliance with all internal and external obligations.
- Provide leadership and coaching to a mid-size team of Fraud professionals.
- Actively look for ways to improve ways of working and engagement for the team.
- Demonstrate People First leadership at all stages of the employee journey.
- Establish a network of contacts to enable a seamless fraud identification amp; mitigation program.
- Develop and nurture solid working relationships with banks, PayPal, other and financial organisations.
- Develop and nurture solid working relationships relevant regulators and law enforcement authorities.
- Attend and network at relevant external events to grow Entain Australia’s network.
Who we’re looking for
- Extensive experience in a fraud leadership role, ideally from within the banking, financial services, or law enforcement industries.
- Thorough knowledge of fraud prevention technology including use of artificial intelligence and machine learning platforms.
- Previous experience leading or performing regulatory reporting for AUSTRAC amp; law enforcement.
- Knowledge of the relevant regulatory framework including Anti Money Laundering, Counter Terrorism Fundingamp; AUSTRAC requirements.
- Prior experience within or leading relationships with key financial institutions amp; law enforcement authorities.
- Relevant tertiary education or related industry experience.
