Role Description
We’re looking for either an Assistant Project Manager, Project Manager, OR Senior Project Manager to oversee one of two high-profile healthcare facilities we’re building.
The first facility is a $300m Hospital new build, and the second is a $70m facility, both located in New South Wales.
These are healthcare construction projects, however you do NOT need healthcare experience to deliver these works. As anyone who’s tried to break into the healthcare sector may know, this is very rare!
Depending on your level of seniority, you’ll be responsible for:
- Stakeholder management throughout any remaining design/procurement phases.
- Engaging with contractors and consultants.
- Contract management during the construction phase, holding builders accountable to budgets, timelines, and quality control.
- Liaising with clients and providing regular updates/reports.
Candidate Profile
To be successful in this role, you’ll need demonstrated experience as a Client-Side Project Manager, ideally with Healthcare, Education, Justice or other Government-related projects.
You’ll also need:
- Strong communication skills and an ability to build rapport with busy stakeholders.
- GC21 contract experience, working with NSW Government contracts.
- High attention to detail and a customer-focused mindset.
- Experience with construction and the delivery phase of projects.
- A willingness to work with team members and deliver outstanding outcomes for clients.
- Qualifications in Project Management, Engineering, Architecture, Construction, or related discipline.
