Job Description

Our mission at Ofload is to achieve zero waste in trucking by digitising the transport industry.

In Australia, currently 30% of trucks drive empty and a further 50% are underutilised amounting to mass inefficiency and detrimental environmental impacts. Since 2020 we have scaled to a team of over 100, removed nearly 5 million empty kilometres from our roads. and have planted over 11 000 trees to offset our carbon footprint in partnership with One Tree Planted.

The role:

The Carrier Performance Lead will be responsible for managing the performance of our company's carriers, ensuring that they meet our high standards for DIFOT (Delivery in Full, On Time), Meet COR compliance laws and regulations and deliver excellent service for our customers. This role will also lead COR within the business. .


What you'll be doing:

  • Monitor carrier performance metrics such as DIFOT, dropped loads, and service/ communication levels.
  • Identify and address issues with carrier performance, working closely with our carrier partners to find solutions.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve carrier performance, create bi monthly performance reviews. Communicate carrier performance to internal stakeholders and provide regular reports to management.
  • Develop and implement compliance auditing and processes to ensure our carriers, customers and the general public always go home safe.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as planning, fulfilment, customer service and Digital Supply Planning to improve overall performance to our customers.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for carrier-related issues, and work with internal teams to resolve any problems that arise.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with carrier partners, negotiate contracts and service level agreements as needed
  • Stay up-to-date on industry developments and trends, and apply this knowledge to improve carrier performance.


Requirements

This role requires a highly organised and detail-oriented individual with the ability to multitask, prioritise and meet deadlines. The right candidate will be able to work well under pressure and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll bring:

  • Extensive experience in logistics or transportation management.
  • Strong knowledge of carrier performance metrics and Chain of Responsibility regulations.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven track record of successfully improving carrier performance.
  • Strong analytical and data management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Experience in transportation and logistics management software.
