Our team

The Datacom applications management business team is a close-knit team comprised of high achieving applications administrators covering the level 2 application support needs of multiple clients across all of Australia and cover technologies such as Dynamics 365 CE, SharePoint, Power Platform, OpenText and Salesforce.

About the Role

The Applications Administrator is predominantly responsible for the administration and support of our customers’ platforms. We need someone with an eye for detail, can work closely with customers in public and private enterprise and are looking for the next step in their career in a collaborative and hard-working environment.

What you’ll do

  • The effective management and administration of CoTS applications for our customers as part of a Level 2 support team.
  • Providing both proactive and reactive support across the portfolio, with an emphasis on proactively identifying risks or issues that can be rectified to ensure stability of an application and prevent an outage before it occurs.
  • Work with project teams to ensure effective introduction of new applications into our support portfolio, including technical and support recommendations or requirements.
  • Meeting client SLAs through the management of resolver group queues to confirm work is completed within agreed time frames.
  • Work with application vendors to promptly resolve major issues that are not resolvable in-house.
  • Utilizing IT Service Management tools to perform incident, request, change, and problem management.
  • Maintenance of our suite of platforms including patching, upgrades, or security updates.
  • Provide on-call support as required

What you’ll bring

  • Previous experience providing level 2 technical support to Dynamics 365 CE and other applications
  • Experience and understanding of enterprise IT technologies such as: Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft SQL
  • Knowledge and skills with any of the below applications from both an application and infrastructure perspective are desirable: Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Microsoft SharePoint, Azure B2C, Logic Apps, OpenText, Salesforce
