About the Team

You will be joining our growing Networks Professional Services team, working with a dedicated team to deliver excellence through building true partnership with an important NSW customer.

About the Role

You will join a team of highly motivated, skilled Professional Services Engineers in our Australian Networks team. We develop, plan, implement and support technology solutions based on client needs, to enhance functionality and reliability of their IT environment utilising the very latest technologies available.

This role is a full-time permanent role and may require some evening and weekend work as agreed with the customer and will be based in our Sydney office. You must have full working rights to be eligible for this role, no sponsorships provided.

What you’ll do

As a Network Consultant you will:

  • Develop your professional expertise with us across a range of applicable technologies to certification.
  • Build constructive internal and external working relationships
  • Always adhere to company and client policies and procedures
  • Work on projects, properly scoped and signed off by the clients
  • Bring your expertise to the fore when designing solutions to project requirements.

What you’ll bring

  • 5 years of networking focussed experience in IT
  • Advanced understanding of building, designing and or supporting/diagnosing networks
  • Strong technical documentation skills to deliver Design and Support related documents for your solutions
  • Certification in two or more Cisco, Checkpoint, Palo Alto, or others to the Associate level or higher
  • Knowledge of firewalls, SD-WAN, ACI, Cisco Wireless, Load Balancer and Cloud knowledge an advantage
  • Experience working in a client facing position with an MSP.

In summary, you will be highly motivated, self-reliant, technically proficient engineer; a strong team player who can also work autonomously when required. You are an open and effective communicator at all levels both within Datacom and with our clients. Are you this person?

We will sponsor your clearances and provide you with a range of in-house and vendor training to ensure you are properly equipped to succeed with us.
