As we continue to grow and provide individualised person-centred service arrangements for people we support, we are looking for an Outcomes Manager for our ISA Division that shares our values, is great with people, has lots of energy, is flexible and resilient and enjoys the close relationships that we build with the people we support.

ISA is a unique service provides individualised support programs and activities to people with a disability that are value-based, with the focus being on each person and the support they need to achieve their NDIS goals. We offer 1:1 support arrangements with experienced and passionate support staff that assist people to develop a range of skills that support each person to make choices in their life and to have control over their decision making.

The Position

Service Quality is paramount at Melba Support Services and the Outcomes Manager role plays a critical role in high quality service delivery. The key objectives of this role are to:

  • Manage the overall operations of the Eastern Regions Individualised Support Arrangements, Anderson Street Accommodation site and Recreation and Leisure Service.
  • To oversee the ongoing development and implementation of these services in the Eastern Region of Melbourne
  • Lead the ISA leadership team and direct support staff in the provision of high-quality individualised supports.
  • Take responsibility for ensuring that service level budgetary, and resource management objectives are reached and maintained.
  • Lead the strategic development of the ISA Service.
  • Ensure that individuals are supported to identify and pursue a broad range of social, educational, vocational, and recreational opportunities that bring meaning and value to their lives.
  • Represent Melba’s ISA service on required internal and external committees and community projects.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of local, state and federal policy and legislation relevant to the service and the people supported.
  • Continually develop the skills of the ISA Leadership team to ensure they match the changing requirements of service provision and align with service level process flows.

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • A track record of and experience in effectively managing large teams of staff to perform their roles to a high standard.
  • An understanding of both physical and intellectual disabilities and other complex presentations.
  • An understanding of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), Person Centred Active Support (PCAS) and person-centred practice.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Victorian Disability Act (2006) and the NDIS Act 2013
  • An understanding of quality assurance and improvement systems.
  • Knowledge of State and Federal legislation relevant to the operation of services aimed at supporting people with a disability
  • Demonstrated commitment to service excellence, human rights and zero tolerance to violence, abuse, neglect and exploitation.

  • Full unrestricted Drivers Licence
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Working with Children Check
  • Capacity to wear Personal Protective Equipment including mask, eye protection, gown and gloves at certain times when directed.
  • Proof of COVID-19 full vaccination, including booster
