About Rombii

Rombii has recently joined The Marketing Practice as a result there is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly respected organisation as we are expanding the sales team to help continue the consistent growth we have experienced over the past 18 months. You will be responsible for building relationships with both new and existing regional clients from our Australia office.

You will be a dedicated and resourceful team player with the desire to have a positive impact on the people around you. Your skills and experience will display a mature approach to relationship-based sales, and the ability to intelligently sell integrated solutions and services. This is a varied position that is focused on growing business as well as managing strategic accounts and helping establish our reach in the APAC region.

Role scope/purpose

This role is focused on developing strong relationships with clients and agencies in the region, selling Rombii’s suite of integrated solutions, which includes digital marketing, programmatic, native, content, and demand generation, focused on outcomes. Initially, you will be focused on the IT sector although in the future we will look at other relevant market segments where we can add value to clients.

Job duties and responsibilities

  • Achieve revenue growth and business development objectives across Rombii’s suite of solutions
  • Ensure coverage across both local SG and APAC counterparts within all relevant organisations
  • Accurate reporting of revenue, activity, and forecast figures, ensuring all data is accurately reflected in Salesforce
  • Nurture key accounts, and cross-selling solutions to consistently optimise revenue
  • Discover and document marketing and sales function stakeholder maps within organisations :
    • Marketing: Digital, Demand, Social, Search, Product, Channel
    • Sales: Head of SDR / Inside Sales, Head of Sales, Sales Director
  • Work with leadership to ensure our data includes relevant organisations and we have coverage of the stakeholders within them
  • Leverage existing relationships to garner introductions to other prospects both internally and externally
  • Build and manage pipeline and activity in line with your KPIs
  • Report meeting pipeline and activities to the leadership team and ensure all systems show this data
  • Actively pursue representation and involvement in industry forums and events to assist in the development of business relationships which may lead to new client acquisition
  • Collaborate with sales teams by bringing innovative campaign ideas and case studies to weekly meetings
  • Ensure that all outbound activity is executed and logged in Outreach
  • Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets

KPIs

Planning

  • A weekly account management plan executed and recorded in Outreach
  • A daily structure focused on activity and account coverage
  • Proactive account discovery and opportunity creation

Activity

  • Consistent outbound client engagement across phone, email and social
  • All activity reported in Outreach through intelligent use of sequences and task management
  • Following the Rombii outbound engagement model and ensuring delivery is accurate
  • All client communication responded to on the same day

Reporting

  • Account coverage - number of contacts engaged, prospects created, accounts attempted, accounts engaged
  • Activity to meeting tracking - conversion metrics
  • Meeting reports - working with the team to ensure all relevant information is recorded and actioned
  • Accurate pipeline management and revenue forecasting to leadership

Requirements

Experience

  • Minimum of 4 years experience in digital marketing and/or lead generation/direct sales
  • Strong contact list of agencies and clients in B2B / IT industry is desirable
  • Strong telephone and face-to-face sales skills
  • Enthusiasm and expertise in working with senior marketing professionals in a consultative manner, listening and responding to their needs
  • Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable and capable as part of a strong team culture and as a high-performing individual
