We are looking for an outstanding ELICOS Teacher who will be responsible for the delivery of high-quality and effective lessons to international students. Candidate will utilize technology that is available in the classroom, provide interactive lessons and ensure a range of hands-on activities incorporated into lesson planning that provides students with a quality learning experience. And also marking, lesson preparation and general course administration is completed in a timely manner.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Providing educational activities ensuring the highest standards of teaching and learning are provided to all students in accordance with the Centre’s strategic goals
- Teaching a range of ELICOS programs to international students
- Participating in extra curricula activities that enhance the students’ experience
- Participating in staff meetings
- Completing all necessary administrative duties to ensure compliance (work records, student attendance, assessment marking, student results and other data entry)
- Providing academic advice to students
- Engaging and interacting with students in order to promote a friendly, fun and creative learning environment
Requirements
- a recognised degree or equivalent and
- a recognised TESOL qualification; or
- a recognised degree in education with TESOL method
- Working with Children’s Check
- Possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Be passionate about teaching
- Have a proven record in implementing and supporting flexible and innovative approaches to teaching and learning and the use of new technologies
- Willingness to participate in and contribute during professional development sessions
