Job Description

We are seeking a driven and results oriented individual to establish customer relationships and develop qualified leads in Queensland across all Geosynthetics Landscaping and Erosion Control product categories in our new depot based in Townsville.

You will deliver WOW service via phone, email and sms. Your proven strong communication, time management and organisational skills will ensure you build strong working relationships with new and existing customers to ensure return of business.

Based in our new depot in Townsville QLD, the role is responsible for managing a diverse range of accounts to drive new business. This is a highly autonomous but key role for the business will work closely with our experienced and business savvy sales team who will provide ongoing support.

Your main tasks will be to drive Geosynthetic Landscaping and Erosion Control sales and include all range of products within the category by building relationships with key stakeholders and drive the business forward.

An essential part of the role will be to utilise the Challenger Sales Methodology.


Responsibilities

  • Develop strong and influential relationships with key customers to accelerate customer engagement and drive growth
  • Build a good understanding of the Geosynthetics Landscaping and Erosion Control category and be able to use this knowledge effectively in customer interactions to drive mutual growth
  • Generate leads, drive new business, maintain and continuously develop a Challenger Sales methodology to drive business growth
  • Continuously improve and maximise sales conversion by understanding and responding to customer needs in a timely manner
  • Achieve sales targets, KPIs and market share
  • Support BDM activities to service an existing client base
  • Report on sales activities and budgetary requirements

Requirements

  • Must have solid experience in similar role and industry
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Familiar utilising the Challenger Sales Methodology
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong and influential relationships
  • Good commercial awareness with a passion and drive to succeed
  • Ability to work autonomously and able to take ownership of results
  • Self-motivated, driven and familiar with remote working conditions
