About the Role

  • Full Time (0.8 or 0.9 FTE Part Time will be considered) - Maximum Term Contract Until 30 June 2023
  • Classification: Consumer Service Delivery Level 3 with a salary range of $77,656 - $83,565 per annum + Superannuation
  • Location: Boronia, Thomastown, Glen Waverley

Overview of the position

The Psychosocial Intake Assessment Worker will form part of the Psychosocial Support Service, working across the Eastern team. Psychosocial support services provide a range of rehabilitative supports to consumers, tailored to meet their individual needs. Neami National’s work with consumers occurs within their own community of friends, family and neighbourhood.

What will you bring to the role?

  • Accredited registration with a professional governing body such as AHRPA, AASW (desirable)
  • Ability to assess eligibility, urgency and case prioritisation for consumer psychosocial support referrals
  • Experience/qualifications in mental health desirable
  • Proven ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
  • Ability to adapt communication style to meet the needs of a diverse range of people
