About the role
Reporting to GM of Process Development, this position will be responsible for designing and reviewing Aegros equipment and devising processes for manufacturing chemicals and products by applying principles and technology of chemistry, physics, and engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Support installation of membrane manufacturing equipment
- Support the technology transfer from Ramp;D to Production for membrane fabrication
- Support the design of the Macquarie Park fractionation facility
- Develop coatings processes and provide subject matter expertise
- Support and troubleshoot membrane production
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in the Bioprocess, Plasma Fractionation or Pharmaceutical Industry in similar role.
- Chemical Engineering, Polymer chemistry or other relevant industrial qualification(s)
- Extensive experience with developing coating processes and providing technical advice
- Experience in a Research and Development / Engineering production start-up environment would be desirable
- Technology transfer and plant/process design experience
