The Student Programs Coordinator is responsible for the successful delivery of the programs in their portfolio over the program lifecycle. These programs include (but are not limited to) the Student Mentor Program, Study Buddies, Connect and the No 1 Supporter Program.

Responsibilities:

Promotion and recruitment

Maximize the number of students who participate in the programs by

  • Ensuring that that the Programs are widely promoted to students through a range of student communication channels.
  • Working with Digital Learning Specialists on the production of program materials (eg Brochures).
  • Briefing internal OES teams as to the conduct and benefits of the program.
Operation
  • Manage the study buddies program for all partners
  • Assist in the facilitation of our student facing programs ie. SMP, No.1 Supporter
  • Assist Student Community Co-ordinator manage the Connect platform in the Hub
  • Communicate with students as needed
  • Undertake general administrative duties such as creation of Salesforce records, coordination of Certificates of Recognition and thankyou gifts
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise with the programs
Quality assurance
  • Develop and administer student surveys for program feedback.
  • In collaboration with the Student Programs Lead evaluate feedback from students and internal stakeholders in order to provide recommendations on how to improve the success of the programs
Liaison with Swinburne University
  • Liaise with SUT in order to form partnerships which improve the programs

Requirements:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification
  • Desirable qualification or experience in UX
  • A demonstrated commitment to improving the student experience
  • Confidence with understanding data, interpreting results and communicating ideas for improving the student experience
  • Demonstrated ability to positively contribute to the development of a culture and team that maximises employee and student engagement
  • Well develop organisational skills and an eye for detail
  • Excellent stakeholder and interpersonal relationship skills; to build alignment and work collaboratively across different teams within OES
