Job Description
As a Leisure and Lifestyle Assistant you are responsible for assisting with the planning and delivery of a quality, diverse and person centred recreational activities program. Our Leisure and Lifestyle program provides a range of opportunities for Respect residents to achieve physical, emotional, spiritual and psychological wellness.

Respect Group Limited is a rapidly growing, not-for-profit, progressive, and purpose-driven aged care and retirement living provider that operates across Tasmania, Victoria, and New South Wales. We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Leisure and Lifestyle to join our team on a permanent part-time basis. We have positions available at our Peace Haven Facility and Fred French Facility, both in Launceston.
The successful candidate will contribute to our strong focus on providing safe, competent, and contemporary clinical care to residents.
You are motivated, high-energy, flexible and have poise under pressure. You thrive in an environment where you have the opportunity to shape and contribute to the Lifestyle Program whilst building supportive relationships with Respect residents and their families. You are highly organised, methodical, attentive to detail and thrive being part of a small, high performing team.
Requirements
What you can bring to the role:
- Diploma or Certificate IV in Leisure amp; Lifestyle qualifications (or working towards this)
- Passion for delivering high quality care that makes a difference for our residents.
- Eagerness to grow and develop your aged care career.
- Excellent customer service amp; resident relation skills
To be considered for employment with Respect, each candidate is required to provide a current National Police Certificate without conviction that would preclude employment in aged care.
