About the role:
The Communications Business Partner will ensure the effective development and delivery of communication plans, channels, tools, and activities to implement the corporate communication strategy and enhance employee engagement and CDC’s reputation and profile.
Other responsibilities include:
- Contribute to implementing the External Affairs Strategy
- Develop and lead the implementation of communication plans
- Plan the production of communication materials
- Contribute to regular measurement and reporting on communication channels and activities
- Assist in identifying and leveraging new and existing communication channel opportunities
- Develop and manage content for corporate communication channels
- Contribute to writing communication collateral including publications and presentations
- Support the execution of communication campaigns and initiatives
- Create, coordinate, and maintain corporate communication materials and channels
- Provide advice to internal stakeholders regarding brand and communications materials and implement agreed actions to maintain or enhance CDC’s reputation
- Ensure all communication materials meet brand guidelines and standards
- Support the roll-out of External Affairs policies, protocols, and guidelines
- Support the coordination of key corporate events for CDC, including town halls, site visits, openings
- Manage project work as assigned by the Head of External Affairs
- Coordinate external contractors/consultants engaged to provide support to External Affairs
- Provide proactive communication assistance to CDC teams
- Provide guidance and support to the External Affairs Advisor
- Embrace and model CDC’s DNA
- Other duties as directed from time to time
About you:
- Tertiary qualifications in communication, marketing, public relations, or related field
- 5 years’ experience in a corporate communication role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Proven track record in writing and developing content for different audiences and channel needs
- Experience in developing internal and external communication tools and materials
- Well-developed time management skills and sound ability to work to deadlines
- Fine attention to detail
- Proven ability to coordinate external contractors/consultants delivering services to the team
- Highly developed customer service ethos
- Understanding of sensitivities of certain corporate issues and information
- Experience guiding other team members is highly desirable
Essential:
- Australian citizenship and ability to obtain, an NV1 Security Clearance
