As our Director of Product and reporting to our co-CEO Alicia, you’ll both lead and do. You will own our roadmap, milestones, and planning while balancing our strategic priorities. You have a rich track record of building evolving SaaS products from the ground-up and taking them to market.
You’ll use your leadership skills and experience to build relationships, teams, and a product that has a genuine impact on the world - and help shape the future ways in which companies think about their workforce.
What you’ll do
- Develop the product vision, manage the product planning process, and work cross- functionally to align our roadmap and business strategy. You’ll be the driving force behind our roadmap amp; OKR’s
- Drive the execution of all lifecycle processes, including product research, competitive analysis, planning, positioning, requirements development and delivery
- Continuously monitor our velocity and evolve our approach and processes to support eQ8’s ambitious growth over the coming years, keeping us at the forefront of Strategic Workforce Planning software
- Evaluate new product ideas, develop appropriate go-to-market plans, and translate them into delivery plans
- Directly manage and build a high-performing team of product managers and designers, helping them to do their best work, while also acting as a coach and leader to our Engineering, Data and Customer oriented teams
- Rally the company around where the product is going and define and deliver concrete wins with each release
- Facilitate and drive a product-led motion that drives unity, alignment, and spirit throughout eQ8
What you’ll bring
- This is not your first rodeo. You have 8+ years’ experience building early-stage products and know the thrills and complexities of moving from one squad to many in tight timeframes
- You’ll likely come from a progressive, software based product offering and have experience in taking new products and new categories to market
- You flex high and low, and find as much enjoyment in writing specifications and diving into data-sets as you do working with our founders to refine our product vision
- Collaborate with other pillar leads and our customers to ensure the product remains aligned with internal team delivery and customer feedback and behaviour
- You have a strong point of view and ability to influence a broad range of audiences, though remain low-ego, humble, and relationship driven
- A level of extreme focus and detail. You are able to talk about your current company’s products, technology and roadmap with a depth that nobody else can match
- Demonstrable history of leading and building high-performance Product teams
- You’re motivated, empathetic, team oriented, and know how to get things done
