Job Description
Our mission at Ofload is to achieve zero waste in trucking by digitising the transport industry.
In Australia, currently 30% of trucks drive empty and a further 50% are underutilised amounting to mass inefficiency and detrimental environmental impacts. Since 2020 we have scaled to a team of over 100, removed nearly 5 million empty kilometres from our roads. and have planted over 11 000 trees to offset our carbon footprint in partnership with One Tree Planted.
In 2022, we supercharged our growth through the acquisition of logistics experts CIA Logistics, raised $60m in Series B funding and were recognised by the Australian Financial Review as one of Australia’s Most Innovative Companies.

The Role
No experience necessary and full training is provided. Great opportunity for ambitious individuals to land the first office job. We are looking for an enthusiastic self-starter to work with our Operations team. You would be the support person for our Senior Allocators. Assisting them in ensuring that we fulfil all our shipments, managing bookings, helping to find and match our carriers with loads, and updating and managing our systems.
What You'll Do
- Receive emails and calls from shippers requesting shipments
- Assist in allocating all incoming shipments to carriers
- Update our internal systems for upcoming bookings
- Assist with any issues in the freight shipments
- Support with customer service enquiries
What You'll Bring
- Previous transport allocation experience in the logistics industry is advantageous
- Comfortable working with computer systems (we will teach you how to use ours, just a certain level of comfort with computers)
- Comfortable talking with customers on the phone
- Comfortable managing lots of bookings
- Ability to work proactively and solve problems
