About Loam
At Loam, we have the earth in our hands. As a team of scientists, farmers and entrepreneurs, we are on a mission to improve the world’s agricultural production systems and address climate change. We are developing microbial technology to remove CO2 from the atmosphere, build carbon in agricultural soils and reduce enteric methane emissions of ruminant livestock. We help farming businesses prosper by boosting crop yields and soil health, improving the productivity of ruminant livestock, and enabling access to carbon markets.
As a start-up with ambitious founders and investors, our work is fast-paced and multi-dimensional. We foster a supportive and diverse workplace, where every team member is encouraged to learn and grow beyond their area of expertise.
While everyone at Loam is working in different roles, we all have one job: to reduce the impact of climate change by either removing CO2 from the atmosphere or preventing CO2 emissions from occurring.
The Role:
As Loam’s Bioproduction Project Manager, you will be based with a team of brilliant researchers and product developers in Orange, NSW. In this role, you will coordinate people and processes at different scales of bioproduction (benchtop, pilot, and commercial) of Loam’s microbial formulation to deliver manufacturing projects on time with the desired outcomes aligned with objectives.
You will be working closely in a cross-functional product manufacturing team including microbiologists, bio-production specialists, formulation chemists, engineers, research collaborators, and contract manufacturing service providers.
