About the Company

RFM manages approximately $2.0 billion of agricultural assets on behalf of retail and institutional investors. RFM has a depth of experience accumulated over 25 years owning, developing and operating Australian farmland, agricultural infrastructure and other assets. About the opportunity

We have an exciting, part time opportunity (three days per week) for a new role as an Administration Officer to support our Macadamia Operation in Maryborough. Reporting to the Safety and Administration Officer, this role will provide support with safety, quality, purchasing, data entry, accounts payable, payroll and other general administration. Although the role will commence as part-time, over time, it is expected this role will offer full-time hours as this business is growing quickly.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Undertake bookkeeping functions, including invoicing, entering of purchases, creditor and debtor follow up, reconciliations, filing and reporting.
  • Review and check timesheets and provide data to the People and Safety team for accurate payment of wages and leave.
  • Provide administrative and technical support with Freshcare and Hort360 audits and recording
  • Record farming activities and associated costs using SafeAg and Conservis to facilitate accurate retention of farming practices, weather, yield data and personal records.
  • Maintain staff and contractor training and induction records
  • Assist with analysis of data for management reports and budget reports.
  • General administrative tasks including mail collection, filing, cleaning, answering phones, ordering stationary supplies
  • Coordinate facilities, amenities, staff uniforms and functions
  • Promote and support the development of a safety excellence culture
  • Develop effective working relationships with all staff, suppliers and contractors

Requirements

The following criteria are essential to be successful in this position:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business or Administrative duties highly regarded
  • Certificate IV Workplace Health and Safety highly regarded
  • Working knowledge of WHS requirements and processes
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • High level of communication, time management and administrative skills

Benefits

On offer for the successful candidate is an hourly rate of $30 - $35 per hour dependent on experience and qualifications. The successful candidate will also be eligible to participate in the company’s group salary continuance, group life insurance plan and annual bonus scheme.
