About the Role

  • Part Time, Permanent
  • Classification: Health Professional Support Services Level 2, with a salary range of $83,592- $93,532 per annum + Superannuation
  • Location: Links to Wellbeing, Morphett Vale SA.

Overview of the position

The Walk-in, After Hours Mental Health Service aims to improve mental health outcomes and mental health care experiences for people presenting with low to moderate acuity mental health symptoms and/or associated difficulties and their carers/families in the Outer Southern region of metropolitan Adelaide through the provision of high quality, responsive and timely primary mental health care services in the sociable after hours period.

What you will bring to the role?

  • Experience in delivery cognitive behaviour therapy and other evidence-based interventions
  • Engage consumers, using a strengths-based approach to complete a comprehensive mental health assessment.
  • Provide evidence based and informed care from a holistic approach for short to medium term care
  • Work within a holistic framework taking into account the needs of consumers, family, carers and other members of the community in order to ensure tangible outcomes

Mandatory role requirements:

  • Neami National will require, as part of our condition of employment, that all candidates applying for any position must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 (have received three doses), (or have received two doses of an approved COVID-19 vaccine and have a scheduled appointment to receive their third dose.)
  • Candidates will be required to provide appropriate evidence of COVID-19 vaccination to Neami National.

  • Current Working with Children Check required before commencement of work
  • Current Vulnerable Persons Check required before commencement of work
  • Current AHPRA or AASW registration
