The Position:
We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Social Care Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis, working 3 days per week, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
The position is based at our St Ann's home in Hobart, Tasmania.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
- Hold a current Certificate IV in leisure and lifestyle or similar discipline (desirable)
- A genuine interest for working in aged care.
- Use initiative to think outside of the box
- An ability to work well in a team environment
- A caring and compassionate nature
- Resident care focused
- Highly motivated and able to take initiative
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- Ability to work with and contribute effectively to the Lifestyle amp; Leisure Team
