Job Description

The Global People Operations (Ops) Manager will support the People team across all regions (Vietnam, North America, EMEA, Australia) in leading the systems and processes that enable an effective employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle; creating a seamless talent journey.

The Global People Operations (Ops) Manager will be focused on the effective delivery of all HR services across global shared services (IT, recruiting, contingent workforce programs, immigration and global mobility).

The ideal candidate will bring a strong combination of business acumen, a breadth of operations experience in HR to build, maintain and refine our global People systems to support our culture and People at Skedulo.

The position will be based in the United States reporting directly to the VP, People amp; Talent and manage the Global People Ops Specialist based in Vietnam.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop a global employee onboarding experience that embodies our company values and culture, focusing on a great new hire experience.
  • Responsible for our global HR systems, tools, and compliance to ensure optimal use, automation, and upkeep.
  • Manage benefits and leave programs.
  • Be a go-to partner for all things Total Rewards (Compensation, Perks, and Benefits) ensuring seamless, fair, and meritocratic comp review cycles with leadership teams; coach managers on how to address compensation needs.
  • Successfully take ownership of relationships with external immigration counsel, as well as management of all current sponsorship cases, including internal communications and acting as first point of contact with sponsored employees.
  • Consult on org design, alignment, and change management; develop and identify high-potential performers through talent management practices/tools and ensure the seamless onboarding of new leaders.
  • Deliver performance management strategies to support employee’s continued growth.
  • Educate and equip leaders with knowledge on workplace rights, performance improvement processes and conflict resolution.
  • Deploy company surveys and tools, then use data gained from them to analyze trends and make informed recommendations for organizational improvement (turnover, promotions, transfers, engagement, performance).
  • Run initiatives to understand employee sentiment at the company and collaborate with the leadership team to adequately address areas of concern.
  • Develop/review relevant policies and procedures related to the People Ops function and support all audits across the Shared Services Team (SOX, internal audits)
  • Generate various compliance reports and ensure timely submissions
  • Manager People Ops Specialists globally and ensure high collaboration and process improvement with other Shared Services teams. Partner with DEIB Program Manager on cross-functional projects that align with HR initiatives.
  • Support recruiting/TA with posting positions and training managers on our recruiting philosophy and process.
  • Maintain and manage People Ops ticketing system.
  • Work closely with Marketing on how to elevate our employer brand externally as well as internally.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in an HR/People Ops environment with knowledge of total rewards, customer service tools, systems and processes
  • Experience launching or driving implementations requiring change management communication.
  • Ability to influence and partner with different levels of the organization and across countries to achieve results.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills; with the ability to think strategically and manage change processes.
  • Ability to work effectively in an environment with a high level of ambiguity.

DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • Systems thinker with a product manager mindset with experience in HR systems
  • Experience managing or implementing HR ticketing system; and other HR system implementation
  • Knowledgeable in global employment law preferably in the US, and UK
