We have 9 locations across Victoria and NSW and we are looking for an awesome Manager to join our team.
This position is a hands-on role where you will be working in a very busy and fast-paced environment.
You will be responsible for driving our Guest Experience, whilst ensuring all Fondarians ( that's what we are all affectionally known as around here) follow the "F.U.G" - Fonda Ultimate Guest Experience from beginning to end.
You will be empowered to drive business within a professional work environment.
You must be able to understand labour and financial budgets and be heavily focused on the training and development of your team.
What you'll be doing
- Set your team up for success to consistently deliver an awesome dining experience for our customers day in, day out.
- Coach our Fondarians to build and promote a culture of excellence and engagement
- Consistently demonstrate and drive Fonda's Steps of Service
- Ensure all Fonda's food and beverage products are executed perfectly, every time
- Maintaining stock levels, and maintenance needs are logged and completed
- Rostering - managing labour costs and ensuring timesheets are approved on time and accurately
- Maintaining high service standards within the restaurant
- Managing the presentation of the restaurant and ensuring it is immaculate and presentable at all times
- Ensuring and measuring guest satisfaction
- Increasing turnover and driving sales
- Having fun!!!
Requirements
It would be great if you've got previous experience in either front or back of house or any customer facing role, preferably in hospitality as this is a Management position.
You're fun, you're approachable, you're enthusiastic, you want to delight people, and people want to engage with you! You care about people, you thrive on developing team members and seeing them grow.
- Have held a similar managerial position in a food-driven venue for a minimum of 2 years.
- Ability to lead, manage, motivate and develop people
- Proven success in driving revenue and profits
- Knowledge of liquor licensing laws and venue compliance obligations
- Experience with reporting, stock control, OHS amp; handling venue security concerns
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to think on your feet and multi-task
- A strong understanding of BOH systems
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to delegate effectively
- Prepared to work flexible hours for 5 shifts including nights and weekends
- A passion for hospitality, leading from the front and developing relationships across all levels of the business
- Strong financial awareness especially in regard to COGs and Labour
