Job Description

We are currently seeking a Cook to join our catering department at our Freemason's home in Hobart, Tasmania on a part-time basis.
The role is 6 days per fortnight and spread across weekdays and weekends.
Requirements
The Cook will work under the guidance of the Chef Manager to prepare, cook and serve nourishing, palatable and attractive in house meals for residents which are consistent with the guidelines of the Food Safety Program.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate:
- Previous experience in residential aged care or a similar commercial kitchen
- A relevant qualification, i.e Certificate III Hospitality
- Food safety Supervisor certificate (desirable, but not essential)
- A current national police certificate (or ability to acquire) to enable the individual to work in the aged care industry.
To be considered for employment with Respect, each candidate must satisfy the legislative requirements of Aged Care Worker Screening to ensure suitability to work in the aged care industry.
