About the role
- Responsible to carry out all Rack Safety Inspections for Bowen Storage in the Australian states of Queensland and New South Wales.
- Develop customer relationships and generate leads for Bowen Storage sales team.
- Develop customer relations through regular site visits/inspections, on-site consultation, proactive business development to meet sales targets of the company.
- Contact existing clients to offer our services for Rack Safety Inspections.
- Visit client sites to carry out Rack Safety Inspections. This involves creating accurate layout drawings of the pallet racking/warehouse, and looking for and recording all damage to racks.
- Prepare Rack Safety Inspections and the associated Proposal for any repairs.
- The Company ERP is to be used to keep track of all sales-related transactions, phone calls, appointments, emails, tasks etc.
- Follow up on all quotes diligently and tenaciously.
- Keep records of all quotes/proposals done, and those won and lost. Report all sales metrics to Sales Manager regularly and consistently.
- Attend and participate in weekly sales meetings.
- Contact prospective clients to offer our services for Rack Safety Inspections.
- Generate leads from the Rack Safety Inspection visit. Find out the client’s future plans.
Requirements
Qualifications
- At least 3 years experience in providing consultancy and leadership support to managers and staff.
- Occupational Safety and Health, Workers Compensation, Injury and Risk Management.
- Well-developed communication skills (oral and written including negotiation and influencing, report writing and presentation skills.)
- Knowledge of related legislation and legislative obligations, particularly the Occupational Health and Safety.
- Knowledge and experience with Workers' Compensation and Injury Management, procedures and rehabilitation programs.
- Well-developed planning, research, conceptual and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Understanding of the Equal Employment Opportunity principles and the ability to apply them in the workplace.
