Job Description

Waste Initiatives is an Australian-owned and operated company that is one of Australia’s leading Waste Equipment suppliers with over 4 decades of expertise and currently experiencing rapid growth.

The role will require a dynamic, flexible, individual who is willing to be trained in all facets of project management including full project life cycle responsibility for managing projects. A strong focus will be your ability to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to manage multiple parties and be involved heavily in stakeholder management.

The Junior Project Manager will be working alongside our current project managers, to manage the installation of waste management equipment. They must be proficient on the computer and excellent at communicating with customers.Preference will be given to candidates that has CAD design experience.


What the Role Includes:

  • Takes job on from when sale is made after project handover all the way to delivery amp; installation signed off by client
  • Single point of contact for client throughout delivery and installation phase
  • Placing Purchase Order with Suppliers
  • Managing Import shipment including logistics and monitoring supplier quality and inspections
  • Co-ordination of install with subcontract installation teams
  • Documentation control and process management

Requirements

  • Graduate in Construction or similar qualification or experience in Project management
  • Must have some Mechanical aptitude
  • Willing to be trained
  • Highly organized and able to plan and execute daily.
  • Able to manage multiple deliverables and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Process Driven and ability to develop systems and programs for continuous improvement.
  • Proactive in following up and staying ahead of the project program.
  • Be able to achieve a track record of delivering projects on time and on budget, with high attention to detail.
