ABOUT THE ROLE:
This is a full-time position based in Broome, WA, focusing on the repairs and maintenance to Mercedes Benz G series desert safari vehicles, during hours and after hours. You will be required to support the dessert safari tours, ensuring the vehicles are well maintained and offer support via telephone, attend to/ assist in breakdown situations. As part of this position you will also be required to undertake other facets of repair work including but not limited to coach repairs.
ABOUT YOU:
The successful applicant will need to be able to work unsupervised and have good communication skills and record keeping skills. This position requires flexible working hours including weekends and public holiday and will be required to travel at short notice and some time away from home is required. The travel will be to remote areas along with the requirement to travel to major centres to carry out works as required.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Certificate 3 in Diesel Mechanics or equivalent
- Certificate 2 in Automotive Air Conditioning Repairs
- HR License
